Join us for the online launch of The Adventures of Kelp Creature! Dive into an underwater world filled with an ecosystem of colourful characters depicted by whimsical narration and lively musical instruments.

Get ready to embark on a journey off the coast of Britist Columbia as we follow Kelp Creature (a famous Salish Sea humpback whale!) and his oceanic friends through life in the kelp forest. Immerse yourself in a world of imagination and discovery, where every sound brings to life the magic of the kelp forest.

Our virtual event will introduce this new, free musical piece created for young people aged 7-11 and the young-at-heart. The approximately 15-minute piece will be screened along with printable graphics for at-home or in-classroom use.

During the online launch, you'll have the chance to chat with the composer & lyricist, hear about the inspiration behind the project, and learn about supplementary resources to give your in-class or at-home listening experiences extra pop!

This project is supported by Ocean Wise through their Ocean Bridge program. In this immersive, skill-building program, youth ambassadors design and deliver ocean and freshwater action projects that are implemented on local and national scales.
